Characteristics

Butyl tape with an aluminium coloured PE foil, single sided adhesive. Ideal for sealing in the roof area, glass joints, porch roof abutments, ventilation ducts, conservatories and other joints in the structural area. 

Alubutyl is UV-proof and can be used both inside and outside.

Product Information

Water and airtight sealing tapes, consisting of a cold-self-bonding butyl rubber adhesive combination applied to an aluminium or lead coloured protective film. The butyl adhesive is protected by siliconated cover foil which can be easily removed. Alubutyl / Bleibutyl has an immediately high direct initial tack, whereas the final bonding strength is achieved after around 24 hours. For permanent UV- and weather protection we recommend a covering
